Mrs Mildred Tan is Co-Chair, Council for Board Diversity, Chairman of Tote Board Singapore, Chairman of Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) Board of Trustees and Co-Chair, Global Future Council on the Future of Philanthropy for Climate and Nature, World Economic Forum. She is also Board Member of the National University Health System, AIA Singapore Pte Ltd and Philanthropy Asia Alliance, and a member of the Council of Presidential Advisers.

Mrs Tan was formerly the Managing Director of Ernst & Young (EY) Advisory Pte Ltd from 2002 to 2018. She is known for her extensive experience leading large, complex organizational transformation in both the private and public sectors.
