Ms Junie Foo is Chief Executive Officer at Methodist Welfare Services (MWS). She is also President of the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations and Co-founder of BoardAgender.

Junie successfully pivoted from banking to social services in 2018. She was the first non-Japanese and the first female in the management of the Corporate Banking Division, Asia Oceania in a Japanese financial institution. To fulfil her desire to be more socially impactful, she joined MWS – a large charitable organisation in Singapore serving close to 10,000 beneficiaries through its nursing homes and programs.

She is a Fellow and council member of Singapore Institute of Directors, where she chairs the Board Appointment Services and Mentoring Committee. Junie became the first female chairperson of Singapore Kindness Movement and is also a founding Board Member of SG Her Empowerment Limited (SHE). Her other board role includes Singapore Art Museum.

She was a member of the Diversity Task Force regarding Women on Boards (2012 – 2014) and a member of the Diversity Action Committee (November 2014 – 2016).
